In Love ;*

This exhibition aims to explore the possibilities that love offers when we think of art as a form of public discussion validated by lived experiences, intuitive practices and collective relationality.

In Love ;* deals with the love we want to express and explore in a global climate of instability and power disparities is one that includes diverse scales of being humans in relation to each other and to other earthly existences. From the micro to the macro spheres, from the underground to an imagination of outer space, from postcolonial to decolonial futurities, from filiality and romance to care, we hope to explore love as a catalyst for solidarity and collective resistance. This exhibition examines love as a territorialization and corporealization of our desires.

Included in the group exhibition are the works of Alisha Dutt Islam, Edwin Ramirez, María Ordóñez, Jorge Raka, Stan Chen, Delnia Rahimzadegan, Breeze Yoko, Thasiannira Araujo Sousa, Meloe Gennai, Rania Atef, and Estelle Quarino. There will be also a sound installation by tina omayemi reden with bérénice awa, Siavash Namehshiri and Tapiwa Svosve 

The exhibition program comprises a Read the Room listening session series by Legion Seven, two talks with Paula Charles and tracy september, Ivy Monteiro and Brandy Butler, a Somatic Workshop facilitated by Care and a Food Tuesday focused on Aphrodisiacs, catered by Phoebe-Lin Elnan.

Les Complices* is a space to imagine other ways of being. A chosen space where all who encounter it, can be themselves. A space to acknowledge (y)our own ignorance, shortcomings and limitations by embracing the unknown.
