People from an Asian diaspora face very specific challenges in a white-majority society. It starts with the term “Asian” - who can identify with it?
Many of us navigate questions of origin, belonging, and identity alone. Despite our differences and uniqueness, we are not alone.
We want to come together in a pan-Asian-only round, create space for exchange and feelings, find words, listen to stories and get to know each other. Above all, however, we want to address the topics that are particularly close to our hearts during a joint brunch.
