A film screening event dedicated to addressing the issue of pinkwashing and showcasing Palestinian queer art and cinema. We’ll delve into the concept of pinkwashing by screening “Pinkwashing Exposed: Seattle Fights Back” by Dean Spade, along with Palestinian queer short films.
The main reason for this screening is focusing on Palestinian art and cinema and also supporting art director Sa’eed Albaytar and his family, who are currently displaced in Gaza to evacuate and receive medical aid.
Let’s unite to support Sa’eed and reject pinkwashing while celebrating the resilience of Palestinian queer individuals.
